General Forum Rules & Guidelines Hello and Welcome to the Renovated TM Forum. Please take your time to read this before using this Forum. By participating in the TM Forum you need to understand and respect the following guidelines about general behaviour on the Forum, these rules are meant to ensure that the Forum is a welcoming friendly experience for all users. Breaking these rules can result in a (temporary) Forum ban, club fine or expulsion from TM based on the severity of the offence. Note that not knowing the rules isn’t a justification to break them. Forum rules - Use English ONLY in the International Forums. * Spanish is the only other language that can be spoken on the international Forums, but only in this General Spanish Forum (of course only Spanish can be spoken there) : trophymanager.com/forum/int/espanol/ - Have some patience when posting an issue. The Forum is being browsed constantly by Teamsters and other experienced users who are willing to help you out with their knowledge, and an answer will come so please DON’T bump your own post (or that of others) to try and get an answer quicker as that will not happen. - Swearing or the use of language which is obscene, threatening, sexual, sexist, libellous or invasive of another person's privacy is strictly forbidden. - Expressions of hatred towards racial, ethnic, national, religious or other groups including those pertaining to sexual orientation are strictly forbidden. - Discussions that encourage, promote or provide information about illegal or criminal activities is strictly forbidden. - Harassing other users in the Forum is strictly forbidden. - It is not allowed to post any 18+ content or link to sites with 18+ content. - It is not allowed to ask/beg for pro days. - It is not allowed to post referral links to internet sites. Normal links to sites will be allowed within reason, as long as they do not constitute spam. - Do not write whole sentences in CAPITALS or in bold. If you write IN CAPITALS or write in bold, OR EVEN BOTH, it seems as if you are shouting. This can be highly annoying and might trigger an unwanted response in the form of a flame mail. Therefor, Forum posts in capitals or bolds will be edited or deleted. - Do not accuse any other manager of cheating. These accusations should be made in private to a GT. Do not discuss the actions and decisions of the GTs regarding cheating as they cannot and will not discuss individual cases. If you need to discuss the issues of a specific case then contact a GT, the list of GTs can be found here : trophymanager.com/teamsters/ - Do not spam. The following is considered spam : bumping your own topics or the topics of others, creating new topics with a subject without direct relation with the content, creating multiple topics with the same name or subject, going off the topic objective, creating meaningless topics, making topics in the wrong Forum (see below), ... - Always use the right Forum : * You can talk about general TM-related subjects in the General Forum : trophymanager.com/forum/int/general/ * Help topics and personal questions concerning the game should be posted in the Help Forum : trophymanager.com/forum/int/help/ * Do not create new threads to advertise your players for sale. You can only post your players for sale on the Transfer Forum : trophymanager.com/forum/int/transfer/ * Do not create new threads for Virtual Leagues, Pro Leagues and Friendlies. If you want to advertise these then it can be done in the Virtual Leagues, Pro Leagues and Friendlies Forum : trophymanager.com/forum/int/friendlies/ * Game Development Suggestions should be posted in the Game Development Forum : trophymanager.com/forum/int/game-development/ * Bugs should be posted in the Bug Forum : trophymanager.com/forum/int/bugs/ * All subjects (within reason) that have nothing to do with TM can be made in the Off-topic Forum. Although the description says ‘anything goes’ the rules of the forum still apply. trophymanager.com/forum/int/off-topic/ - Please glance down the Forum to see if threads about the same subject have been made. If similar threads exist then please add to the existing thread rather than creating a new one. If you do create a new similar thread then yours WILL be locked and a referral to the existing thread will be given. At last, again : Not knowing the rules isn’t a justification to break them. The Forum Teamsters have total authority to judge your case and give the punishment they think is fair. The decisions of FTs and GTs cannot be discussed in forums, if you want to discuss the punishment, contact them directly by TM-mail.
